Introduction to the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Dual D.N.P. Degree Program
The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Dual D.N.P. Degree Program at OHSU is designed to provide compassionate care for young patients. The program requires 111 credits to complete, including 25 practicum course credits and 7 D.N.P. project course credits.

Program Requirements
To complete the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner D.N.P. degree program, students must:
- Complete 111 credits
- Earn a B- or better in all courses
- Complete a D.N.P. project
Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner D.N.P. program, students must:
- Have an RN license
- Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Have completed a college-level statistics course with a B- or better within 5 years of starting the program
- Have a B.S.N. or B.S. with a major in nursing

OHSU is accredited by the NWCCU and the OHSU School of Nursing is accredited by the CCNE.
Technical Standards Policy
OHSU requires all students to have a set of basic skills, called 'technical standards,' to successfully complete their program.
Nursing Scholarships
New Pediatric Nurse Practitioner students may be eligible for a $9,000 scholarship.
Accelerated B.S. to PNP Pathway
Students pursuing their B.S. in nursing can apply to the accelerated B.S. and the PNP programs with one application, allowing them to transition directly into the D.N.P. program after earning their B.S.
