The Interior Component Design (ID 4751) program is a collaborative effort between the LSU School of Interior Design and Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic. The program was conducted in the fall 2018 semester and included a design workshop and an exhibition of student work.

Program Description
The program focused on the study of furniture design and furniture technology, with opportunities for cooperation between the universities. Interior design students visited the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology at Mendel University in Brno and explored design in the Czech Republic.
Program Activities
- A three-day workshop was held with American and Czech students at historic Ktiny Castle.
- An exhibition of student work was held in Baton Rouge.
- Students participated in a design workshop in Brno, Czech Republic.
