The 3/2 MBA program at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, offers students the opportunity to earn a Bachelor's degree and an MBA in just five years. Program Overview
The 3/2 MBA program combines principles of accounting with business fundamentals vital for success in the market. Students in this program will gain global business experience through international and domestic field studies, as well as hands-on experiences through field consulting projects and experiential electives.
International Opportunities
- Gain global business experience through the A505 International Field Studies, spending seven weeks abroad, immersed in another culture.
- Help companies address major business challenges, gaining tangible problem-solving experience needed to compete in today's international business environment.
- Travel to places such as Warsaw, Poland; Bucharest, Romania; Hanoi, Vietnam; and Bangkok, Thailand, for a once-in-a-lifetime learning opportunity.
Domestic Opportunities
- Apply classroom knowledge to real-world business issues in a team setting through the A569 Field Consulting Projects.
- Consult with local Indiana businesses and nonprofits to offer solutions to current business problems, gaining experience while supporting the Hoosier community.
- Take your learning outside of the classroom through experiential electives, like the Assurance Learning Lab in NYC or the Accounting and Public Policy course through the Washington Campus in Washington, D.C.
Career Preparation
The 3/2 MBA program is designed to prepare students for career advancement and long-term success. With this program, students will:
- Work with Career Services to chart their career path.
- Prepare for recruiting events, create a job search strategy, and connect with companies.
- Position themselves for career advancement and long-term success, with recruiters recognizing their preparedness to lead.

- Beginning mean base salary for 2024 graduates: $79,489.
- 98.3% of Class of 2023 students received job offers in their fields.

Program Details
- The 3/2 MBA program meets the requirements to apply for the CPA exam in Indiana.
- Kelley staff will work with students to interpret eligibility requirements in other jurisdictions.
- Early planning is needed for Kelley accounting and finance majors to take advantage of this boutique MBA experience.
- Students can apply as early as their sophomore year until the application deadline of December 1 of their junior year.
