Business Administration
Program Overview
Introduction to the Business Administration Program
The Business Administration program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in business principles and practices. In 2013, the Indiana legislature required state colleges and universities to establish a Statewide Transfer General Education Core of at least 30 credit hours. This core is a foundational component of the program.
Program Requirements
The program is structured to allow students to fully transfer certain associate degrees as the first two years of instruction toward a companion bachelor's degree. The Transfer Single Articulation Pathways (TSAP) enable students who have completed a TSAP associate degree from an Indiana two-year college to continue in the companion TSAP bachelor's degree program.
Eligibility and Benefits
- Students who have completed a TSAP associate degree from an Indiana two-year college (Ivy Tech or Vincennes) are eligible to continue in the companion TSAP bachelor's degree program.
- This program guarantees that students can finish their degree on time within two years of full-time study.
- The TSAP program is designed to provide a seamless transition for students, ensuring that they can complete their bachelor's degree in a timely manner.
Program Structure
The Business Administration program, through the TSAP, allows for the transfer of at least 30 credit hours from the Statewide Transfer General Education Core. This core, combined with the credits earned from the associate degree, forms the foundation of the bachelor's degree program.
Completion Timeline
- The program is designed to be completed within two years of full-time study after transferring from an associate degree program.
- This timeline is guaranteed for students who follow the TSAP pathway, ensuring a timely completion of their bachelor's degree.
