Admissions Requirements
In addition to the general requirements of the College of Arts and Sciences, the Department of Applied Linguistics and English as a Second Language has the following requirements:
- A typed statement of professional and academic goals (no more than three pages in length).
- Two letters of recommendation.
- Transcripts (one from each institution attended).
- For non-native speakers of English, official scores on the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System).

Tuition and Fees
- $450 tuition per credit hour (same for all students, regardless of geographic location).
- $660 per semester online learning fee (if enrolled in 6 or more credit hours).
