Water in the Environment Module
The Water in the Environment module is designed to introduce students to the importance of maintaining the availability of fresh water on Earth. The module covers the basic properties of water, the water cycle, and the harmful effects of pollutants in lakes, rivers, streams, and groundwater.
Module Details
- Grade Level: 4th grade - 8th grade
- Where Taught: Either in the classroom (up to 30 students per session) or on the Bio-Bus (up to 15 students per session)
- Students: Up to 15 students, plus one observer
- Time needed for presentation: 30-45 minutes
