PhD Program for Working People (Enrollment: April 1st)

Program Outline

  • Degrees Awarded: Doctor of Engineering (Eng.D.), Doctor of Science (Sc.D.), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

  • Course Taught in English
  • Pursue your degree while working
  • Short visits to IGSES once or twice per year at minimum
  • Publish at least one academic journal paper with your supervisor

  • Application Deadline: 17:00, January 9, 2026, Japan time
  • Screening: For the period between February 10, 2026, and February 13, 2026
  • Notification of Screening Results: February 24, 2026
  • Enrollment Procedures: March 2 - 9, 2026
