PhD Program for Working People

Program Outline

• Degrees awarded: Doctor of Engineering (Eng.D.), Doctor of Science (Sc.D.), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
• Duration: 3 years
• Enrollment: October 1st
• Course taught in English
• To pursue your degree while working
• Short visits to IGSES once or twice per year at minimum

• Opening date for the receipt of documents: April 25, 2025
• Closing date for the receipt of documents: 17:00, May 7, 2025 (JST)
• Entrance exam: One day between June 3 and June 5, 2025
• Notification of screening results: June 23, 2025
• Enrollment Procedures: Early September, 2025
