Introduction to the Inamori Frontier Program
The Inamori Frontier Program is a research initiative aimed at fostering exceptional young researchers to create new academic fields. Kyushu University has established this program as part of its "Kyushu University VISION 2030" to promote innovative research and contribute to social transformation.
Program Overview
The program seeks to recruit outstanding young researchers from various fields, with a total of 25 new positions available over the next five years, with five positions per year. The selected researchers will be appointed as associate professors with a five-year contract and will be provided with an environment conducive to research, including exemption from non-research duties and special treatment, such as higher salaries and research funding of over 30 million yen for five years.
