Program Overview

The MagÚster en Innovaciµn y Emprendimiento en Ciencia y TecnologÚa (Master's in Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Science and Technology) is a program designed to develop competencies for future engineers and experts in basic sciences. The program aims to generate innovation based on science and technological entrepreneurship, contributing to the social and economic development of the country.

Program Description

The program's objective is to develop competencies for futuros ingenieros and/or expertos en ciencias bÃsicas oriented to generate innovaciµn in base to ciencias and emprendimientos cientÚfico-tecnolµgicos. This will enable them to contribute to the development social and econµmico of the country, responding to the needs of the society through innovaciµn and emprendimiento privado, social, and pºblico.

Plan of Studies

The Plan of Studies has a total academic load of 96 credits, divided into 66 credits of courses and 30 credits of the Actividad Formativa Equivalente. Each credit is equivalent to 27 hours of academic work. Students can enroll in a minimum of 2 courses and a maximum of 5 courses per academic period (semester).

• Financiamiento y sustentabilidad econµmica de los proyectos - Obligatorio - 3 credits

Admission Requirements

To apply for the program, candidates must:

• Hold a degree of Licenciado or a professional title with a level, content, and duration of studies equivalent to those of the Licenciado degree at the University of Chile, as determined by the corresponding Academic Committee.
• Have prior training in line with the program's objectives and requirements (licenciatura in engineering, sciences, or related fields).
