Program Overview

The Diplomado de Postítulo Fundamentos de la Physics is a postgraduate program that provides a comprehensive and quantitative education in Physics, covering topics from basic mechanics to modern physics.

Program Details

• Duration: 03/03/26 to 12/17/26
• Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays - 18:30 hrs, and Saturdays - 10:00 hrs
• Location: Department of Physics (online mode)
• Target Audience: Professionals requiring a qualitative and quantitative education in Physics
• Organizers: Chilean Complexity Cluster, Department of Physics of the Faculty of Sciences, University of Chile
• Fee: $2,500,000 + $200,000 (registration), with a 7% discount for cash/transfer payment or a 10% discount for Universidad de Chile graduates and public officials

###Evaluation and Approval

• Evaluation will be module-based
• The annual grade will be the arithmetic average of the module grades
• A minimum grade of 4.0 and 80% attendance are required for approval

Program Capacity

The program will only be offered with a minimum of 12 students and a maximum of 18 students enrolled.
