The Diplomado en Excelencia Operacional y Gestión de Activos is a program designed to form professionals who can design and lead initiatives of operational excellence and asset management to achieve high-performance goals in uncertain and volatile environments with multidisciplinary teams.

The program takes place from May 29, 2026, to November 14, 2026, on Fridays and Saturdays from 09:00 hrs.

The program features virtual synchronous classes, live via Zoom, and a teaching support platform, U-Cursos (virtual - online).

The program is aimed at engineers, primarily Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, and Electrical, who work or are interested in acting in equipment integrity areas.

REQUISITOS

• Be in possession of a professional engineering title or a license in Engineering with a minimum duration of 4 years
• Have intermediate-level Excel skills
• Have a team with internet access

OBJETIVOS

OBJETIVO GENERAL

The objective of the Diplomado en Excelencia Operacional y Gestión de Activos (DEOGA) is to form a professional to design and lead operational excellence and asset management initiatives to achieve high-performance goals in uncertain and volatile environments with multidisciplinary teams.

OBJETIVOS ESPECÍFICOS

• Conceive and lead operational excellence and asset management projects with a systemic vision and structured and quantitative approaches.
• Design asset care strategies throughout their life cycle.
• Design and evaluate supply strategies for critical spare parts.
• Design and evaluate equipment and supplier selection and replacement strategies.
• Master the fundamentals and practical techniques of data analysis to manage complex data (big data).

The diplomado is structured in 9 courses, divided into 144 hours of classes.

• Big Data Analytics en Confiabilidad y Mantenimiento: August 28-29, 2026
• Gestión de Repuestos Críticos: October 2-30, 2026
• Transformación Digital, Prognosis y Gestión de Condición: October 23-24, 2026
• Gestión de Contratos de Servicio y Taller de Casos: November 13-14, 2026

EVALUACIÓN

The evaluation system for the Diploma contains the following aspects and instruments:

• Qué: Understanding of thematic contents, application project.
• Cuándo: Two options: halfway and/or at the end of each course; periodic evaluations every class or every pair of classes, at the end of the Diploma.
• Cómo: Written exam, written controls, written report, and oral presentation.

To pass the diploma, the student must pass all courses with a minimum grade of 4.0.

Descuentos

• 40% advance payment before December 29, 2025 + 5% additional for cash payment
• 50% for University of Chile employees - 44-hour shift - or their charges (contract or plant with appointment over 1 year)
• 30% advance payment before February 28, 2026 + 5% additional for cash payment
• 25% advance payment before March 30, 2026 + 5% additional for cash payment
• 20% advance payment before April 30, 2026 + 5% additional for cash payment
• 25% for University of Chile employees - 22-hour shift - or their charges (contract or plant with appointment over 1 year)
• 25% for former University of Chile students (undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education)
• 25% for affiliates of Caja Los Andes (presenting a membership certificate)
• 20% for collaboration agreements
• 20% for public officials (accrediting with appointment and/or labor certificate indicating seniority and weekly working hours)

The discounts are not cumulative and, at the time of application, must be accompanied by documents that accredit the quality that enables the discount.
