The Diploma de Postítulo en Proyectos Ferroviarios y de Metro is a postgraduate program aimed at professionals in the field of railway and metro projects. The program is coordinated by Edgardo González and Julio Robles.

Objetivos

Objetivos Generales

The general objectives of the program are:


  • To perfect and deepen knowledge and competencies in the planning, design, and construction of railway and metro projects.
  • To enable graduates to evaluate and apply concepts, methodologies, technologies, and best practices in railway and metro projects.

Objetivos Específicos

The specific objectives of the program are:


  • To identify the elements of railway and metro projects that positively impact the Objectives of Sustainable Development.
  • To evaluate the operational requirements of projects.
  • To evaluate the infrastructure and superstructure of roads to be implemented.
  • To evaluate the types of trains and systems to be implemented.
  • To evaluate the vibration control systems to be implemented.

Plan de Estudios

The program consists of 10 courses with 12 hours of lectures each and 2 seminars with 6 hours of lectures each, totaling 132 hours of lectures.

Lugar y Horario de Clases

The classes will be held online with synchronous sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18:00 to 21:00 hours. Occasionally, classes may be held on Fridays from 16:30 to 19:30 hours.

Evaluación y Aprobación

The evaluation and approval criteria are:


  • Minimum attendance of 75%.
  • Individual work (case study) in each course.
  • Final grade = Average grade of work in each module.
  • Approval with a final grade above 4.0 (on a scale of 1.0 to 7.0).
  • A digital certificate of approval and a certificate of grades will be awarded.
