Introduction to the Diploma in Animal Reproduction
The Diploma in Animal Reproduction, offered by the Faculty of Veterinary and Livestock Sciences at the University of Chile, aims to provide professionals in the veterinary field with specialized knowledge in animal reproduction. Program Overview
The Diploma in Animal Reproduction is a postgraduate program that comprises two independent modules: Reproduction General and Reproduction Specialty. The program is delivered entirely online, allowing students to adjust their study schedule according to their availability.
Reproduction General Module
This module covers the general aspects of animal reproduction, including the physiology of reproduction in males and females, reproductive characteristics of different species, and diagnostic methods and evaluations used in animal reproduction. The module consists of 6 weeks of online theoretical classes, with a total duration of 130 hours.
Reproduction Specialty Module
This module allows students to choose from three specialties:
- Reproduction of Ruminants
- Equine Reproduction
- Reproduction in Small Animals Each specialty module has a duration of 4 weeks, with 110 hours of direct and indirect instruction.

- Module 1: US$ 4,100 or 110 UF
- Each specialty module: US$ 2,500 or 60 UF
