Diploma in Innovation and Entrepreneurship Policies

Program Overview

The Diploma in Innovation and Entrepreneurship Policies is designed for professionals interested in participating in the design and implementation of instruments and policies that promote innovation and entrepreneurship in society. These professionals can come from public institutions, but also from research centers, academia, and private institutions.


Program Objective

The diploma aims to provide students with the necessary tools to analyze, criticize, design, and implement support instruments for innovation and entrepreneurship activities. The program develops skills for formulating initiatives that enhance the country's innovative and entrepreneurial capacity through the analysis of real policy cases and guest lectures.


Academic Director

The Academic Director of the program is Roberto Álvarez, Ph.D. in Management from the Anderson School of Business, UCLA. He is the Director of the School of Economics and Administration and a Professor at the Department of Economics. Dr. Álvarez has also worked as a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and as a Senior Economist at the Central Bank of Chile.

Análisis Económico de Políticas de Innovación (June to October)
