Description

The current situation in Chile reflects a concerning public health landscape, with approximately 75% of the population experiencing overweight or obesity, 40% facing metabolic diseases, and 50% having a moderate to high cardiovascular risk. In response to this scenario, the health objectives for the decade include reducing cardiovascular diseases and increasing physical activity levels in the population.

However, currently, only kinesiologists receive initial training in exercise prescription, limiting other professionals in the field of physical activity who could significantly contribute to the benefits of physical exercise in health promotion and disease prevention. To address this need, this diploma proposes a Blended-Learning methodology, combining presential and virtual learning strategies.

Enrollment Requirements

1. Pre-enrollment: Complete the pre-enrollment form.
2. Student Portal: If the profile matches the program's requirements, the applicant will be contacted by a commercial assistant to access the "Student Portal," where they must:
   • Complete the "Personal Information" form with their background.
   • Attach required documents:
     • Copy of the professional university degree certificate.
     • Photocopy of the Identity Card (both sides) or valid Passport (for foreigners only).
     • Updated Curriculum Vitae.
3. Other Requirements:
   • It is desirable to have work experience in managing patients with respiratory diseases.
