The Programa de Corresponsabilidad Parental (Parental Co-Responsibility Program) is designed to support students who are parents, providing them with the necessary resources to balance their academic and family responsibilities.

The program comprises two types of scholarships: Apoyo Preescolar (Preschool Support) and Apoyo Parental (Parental Support). These scholarships aim to cover the costs of childcare and development for children from infancy to 12 years old, enabling student parents to pursue their studies while ensuring the well-being of their children.

Eligibility and Application

To be eligible for the scholarships, students must:

• Complete the Formulario de Caracterizaci Estudiantil (Student Characterization Form) within the specified period
• Meet the specific requirements for each scholarship
• Undergo an evaluation process by the social worker assigned to their academic unit

Program Financing

The program is financed through the Fondo del Programa de Atenci Econica (Economic Attention Program Fund), regulated by Decreto Universitario Nｰ5819, de 1981 (University Decree No. 5819, 1981).
