Presentation

The Diploma in Gender Studies is presented in a hybrid mode, in-person in Santiago and via Zoom for regions. It starts on Thursday, May 7, 2026, and ends on Thursday, November 26, 2026, with sessions from 18:30 to 20:30 hours.


Objective

The objective of the diploma is to deepen the production of knowledge from a multidisciplinary perspective, allowing for the understanding of the contribution of feminist theories and the value of situated knowledge. This enables various social actors to incorporate these insights into their practices. The diploma proposes the convergence and dialogue between different viewpoints to contribute to critical knowledge about the social, historical, and subjective condition of individuals.


Methodology

The learning process consists of:


  • Synchronous in-person presentations in the classroom and via Zoom for regional participants, with support from digital and audiovisual media.
  • Participatory reflections and debates.
  • Development of individual and group activities.
  • Required reading of bibliography, with complementary material provided.
  • Practical workshops.

Course 4: "Body and Performance. Theory and Practice"

    • Theories on performance
    • Emergence of the use of the body in political proposals: historical perspective

  • Attendance: 70%
  • Evaluation at the end of each course

  • Tuition fee: $800,000
  • Discounts on tuition:
    • 15% discount for teachers of basic and medium education establishments who accredit their condition.
    • 15% discount for University of Chile officials who accredit their condition.
    • 15% discount for public officials who accredit their condition.
    • 30% discount on tuition for undergraduate students of universities who accredit belonging to the top 20% of their cohort of entry for the previous year in which they apply for the benefit.
