Program Overview

The Diplomado en Excelencia Operacional y Gestión de Activos is a unique program that combines academic excellence with industry experience. The program is designed to help students develop projects with high organizational performance, complex interdependent teams, and a global and integral vision.


Presentation

This program is led by renowned faculty members with extensive experience in academia, research, and industry. Students will learn to manage operational excellence and asset management to develop high-level projects.


Target Audience

The program is aimed at engineers, primarily Civil Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, and Electrical engineers, who work or are interested in working in areas such as equipment integrity, reliability, and maintenance in private or public sector companies.


Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the program, students must:


  • Hold a professional engineering title or a license in Engineering with a minimum duration of 4 years.
  • Have intermediate-level proficiency in Excel.
  • Have a computer with internet access.

Objectives

The program's specific objectives are to:


  • Conceive and lead projects of operational excellence and asset management with a systemic vision and structured and quantitative approaches.
  • Design asset care strategies throughout their life cycle.
  • Design and evaluate supply strategies for critical spare parts.
  • Design and evaluate equipment and supplier selection strategies.
  • Master the fundamentals and practical techniques of data analysis to manage complex data (big data).

  • 40% for early payment before December 29, 2025, plus an additional 5% for cash payment.
  • 50% for Universidad de Chile employees (44-hour workweek) or their dependents (contract or permanent staff with a nomination exceeding 1 year).
  • 30% for early payment before February 28, 2026, plus an additional 5% for cash payment.
  • 25% for early payment before March 30, 2026, plus an additional 5% for cash payment.
  • 20% for early payment before April 30, 2026, plus an additional 5% for cash payment.
  • 25% for Universidad de Chile employees (22-hour workweek) or their dependents (contract or permanent staff with a nomination exceeding 1 year).
  • 25% for former Universidad de Chile students (undergraduate, graduate, or continuing education).
  • 25% for affiliates of Caja Los Andes (presenting a membership certificate).
  • 20% for collaboration agreements.
  • 20% for public sector employees (accrediting with appointment and/or labor certificate indicating seniority and weekly working hours). Note: Discounts are not cumulative and must be accompanied by supporting documents at the time of application.
