Program Overview
The Diplomado en Confiabilidad, Mantenimiento y Gestión de Activos is a professional development program designed to equip professionals with advanced knowledge in reliability, maintenance, and asset management. The program aims to enable participants to lead and execute innovative projects that significantly improve availability and maintainability in complex industrial environments, leveraging data to make informed and effective decisions.
Target Audience
The program is directed at engineers, particularly in the fields of mechanical, chemical, industrial, and electrical engineering, who work in or aspire to specialize in equipment integrity, reliability, and maintenance in both the private and public sectors.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for the program, applicants must hold a professional university degree in engineering, an academic degree of licentiate or higher, or a higher-level technical title.

Objectives
The specific objectives of the program include:
- Deepening Key Concepts: Acquiring an advanced understanding of risks, reliability, maintainability, availability, and resilience in an industrial context.
- Mastering Maintenance Strategies: Learning and applying reliability design techniques, preventive and predictive maintenance, and effective inspections.
- Managing Policies and Spare Parts: Evaluating and managing warranty policies and their impact on spare parts management, optimizing resources and costs.
- Risk-Based Inspection: Mastering risk-based inspection concepts and models, with an emphasis on API 580/581 standards.
- Big Data Analysis: Acquiring skills in handling and analyzing Big Data applied to asset management and fault diagnosis.
- Fault Diagnosis and Prognosis: Evaluating and applying advanced techniques for diagnosing and predicting equipment and structure failures using sensor data.
- Applied Project: Implementing acquired knowledge in an integral physical asset management project, testing learned skills in a real environment.

Online Modality
The program is offered in an online modality, making learning more accessible and collaborative. Participants can follow courses via streaming or watch video recordings, converting distance learning into a simple, clear, and problem-free experience.
Program Schedule
- Start Date: May 2026
- End Date: November 2026
- Class Schedule: 2 times a month, Fridays and Saturdays, from 09:00 to 18:00 hours.
- Duration: 144 hours
Fees
The program costs 144 UF, payable in up to 12 installments. Special discounts are available:
- 30% discount for Caja Los Andes affiliates (not cumulative with early registration discounts or Institute of Engineers membership discounts).
- 25% discount for Institute of Engineers members (not cumulative with early registration discounts or Caja Los Andes affiliate discounts).
- Additional Discount: 10% discount for cash payment of the tuition fee (cumulative with any of the previous discounts).
