Program Overview
The Internado Docente Asistencial program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in dental care and assistance. The program consists of three internships, each lasting five weeks, in different healthcare establishments.
Requisitos de Ingreso al Programa de Internado
To be eligible for the program, students must have completed up to the 10th semester, including the respective general formation courses. Prior to the start of the internship, students will participate in an induction program with classes and relevant topics in public service care. This activity is mandatory, semi-presential, and evaluated.
Programa de Internado Docente Asistencial
The program aims to enable students to work in teaching healthcare establishments, primary health care, community context, and/or hospital dental emergency services. The program consists of three internships in different establishments, each lasting five weeks, for a total of 15 weeks. The distribution of students in the different centers will be coordinated according to availability.

Evaluación del Internado Docente Asistencial
At the end of each internship period, the tutors in charge will complete the evaluation guidelines provided by the Internship Directorate for each period. These guidelines include different areas of student performance, which are informed during the induction period prior to their professional practice.
