Program Overview

The Diploma of Professional and Labor Development in Educational Innovation with a mention in skills to gamify the classroom or develop neuroeducational video games is a formative program that responds to the mission of the faculty in the educational and technological context of the 21st century.

Presentation

This diploma is presented as a contribution to the development of modern and current education, to which the University of Chile is committed in its inspiration to strengthen the national education system. The program aims to provide participants with the skills to conceptualize, design, develop, and implement projects that involve gamifying the classroom or developing neuroeducational video games in their professional or work context.

Profile of Graduates

The person who obtains the Diploma of Educational Innovation is capable of conceptualizing, designing, developing, and putting into practice projects that imply, according to the chosen mention, gamifying the classroom or developing a neuroeducational video game, in the professional or labor context where they work.

Admission Requirements

Those who can apply for the Diploma are people who have work experience, professional or previous learning demonstrable through certificates from educational institutions, employers, government institutions, or others, and who work in the educational area from preschool to higher education, as well as people from training units of different organizations, Chilean or foreign.

To apply, the following must be attached:

• Legalized copy of certificates or others that account for the fulfillment of the requirements indicated in Article 5 of this text. In the case of foreign students, the documents must be apostilled.
• Curriculum vitae
• Photocopy of identity card or ID on both sides.

Application Period

• September 2025 to January 2026
• Notice of selection results: September 2025 to March 2026

Tuition Fee Discounts

• 50% for graduates of diplomas or courses developed by the GCSA Program.
• 50% for active members of CODICH.
• 50% discount on tuition for students of TIC+EDU area careers from the third year or higher who perform support tasks for the management of the GCSA Program.
• 40% for graduates of the University of Chile.
• 40% for academics and officials of the University of Chile, who have a appointment or designation of no less than 22 hours a week and seniority superior to a year in the Institution.
• 40% discount on tuition for early registration (until January 15, 2026, for the 1st semester, until May 31 for the 2nd semester)
• 30% for teachers or professionals from establishments belonging to a SLEP1 or a state agency.
• 30% in any of the GCSA-UChile Program Diplomas, for people from the SYNC Magic community and/or strategic partners of Yeira Inc of foreign nationality, and 50% in any of the Diplomas of the mentioned program, if the people come from foreign public institutions.
• 25% discount for teachers belonging to the Galileo Libros Adopted Colleges.
• 20% discount on tuition for teachers or professionals from subsidized private educational establishments.
• 10% discount on tuition for people who have some merit in the TIC+EDU area accredited through a certificate from the projects and/or institutions where it is indicated that they have participated in the area.
