Program Overview
Introduction to the University Program
The Program of Induction to University Life was created in 2018, with antecedents dating back to 2012. This program aims to provide students with tools from their arrival at the university, accompanying their transition and insertion into the University of Chile and familiarizing them with its institutional context.
Program Objectives
The objectives of the program are to:
- Accompany students in the process of getting to know the university and adapting to the new stage of life that higher education entails
- Deliver cross-cutting strategies that promote autonomy
- Promote well-being
- Provide tools that facilitate access to information and student services
Program Structure
The program includes:
- A week of welcome activities
- A cross-cutting course to face the first year of university
- Other activities to develop skills in different thematic areas useful for university life
