The Capacitar Healing program is designed to help individuals manage stress and promote overall well-being. The program is based on the foundational work of Dr. Patricia Cane and introduces participants to Capacitar exercises that lead to healing, wholeness, and peace.
What is Capacitar?
Capacitar is a Spanish word that means "to empower, to encourage, to bring one another to life." The mission of Capacitar is to teach body-mind-spirit practices that enable healing, wholeness, and peace in individuals, communities, and the world.

- Pal Dan Gum (a practice from Korea)
- Meditation and mindfulness

How the Body, Mind, Spirit Practices of Capacitar Work
The program is designed to give people skills to heal and transform stress and pain resulting from illness, trauma, violence, and daily life. These practices have been used effectively with a variety of people and cultures, including seniors, young people, and students, as well as individuals with disabilities and those affected by poverty, physical or mental illness, abuse, trauma, or violence.

Capacitar has been taught in over 40 countries around the world and has been used in countries after tsunamis, earthquakes, floods, pandemics, and areas of ongoing conflict.
