• CSCY1000 Introduction to Cyber Security
  • This course examines the information security knowledge framework through the lens of the CISSP domains, providing students with an enhanced understanding of the eight CISSP domains and the fundamental information required for information security projects and the designation.

    • Winter 2026: January 26 to March 08, 2026, Saturdays and Sundays, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
    • Fall 2026: September 14 to October 25, 2026, Saturdays and Sundays, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
• CSCY1010 Security Risk Management and Governance
  • This course develops an understanding of the ethical, legal, and regulatory issues surrounding cyber security, teaching students about security principles, network fundamentals, and how to apply these areas to design networks and policies for security and compliance.

  • Schedule:
    • Winter 2026: March 09 to April 19, 2026, Saturdays and Sundays, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
    • Fall 2026: October 26 to December 06, 2026, Saturdays and Sundays, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
• CSCY1020 Data, Asset and Identity Protection
  • This course focuses on the protection of digitized data, teaching students how to mitigate risk and protect ownership by understanding best practices for data gathering, classification, storage, retention, and protection.
