Bergeron Entrepreneurs in Science and Technology

The Bergeron Entrepreneurs in Science and Technology (BEST) program is designed to provide students with hands-on learning opportunities in entrepreneurship, science, and technology. The program offers various paths for students to engage with, including the BEST Student Paths, BEST Certificate, BEST Co-op, and BEST International Course.

Education

• BEST Student Paths: This path provides students with the opportunity to explore different areas of entrepreneurship and science.
• BEST Certificate: The certificate program is designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of entrepreneurship and science.
• BEST Co-op: The co-op program allows students to gain practical work experience in their field of study.
• BEST International Course: This course provides students with the opportunity to study abroad and gain international experience.

Experience

• BEST Experience: This experience provides students with the opportunity to work with startups and gain hands-on experience in entrepreneurship.
• BEST Startup Experience: Students can work with startups and gain experience in the startup ecosystem.
• UNHack: This is a hackathon event where students can showcase their skills and innovative ideas.

Entrepreneurship

• BEST Bridge to Startup: This program provides students with the opportunity to bridge the gap between academia and the startup world.
• Entrepreneurial Work-Integrated Learning: This program allows students to gain practical experience in entrepreneurship while earning academic credits.
• BEST Concept to Launch: Students can learn how to take their ideas from concept to launch.
• BEST Startups: This program provides students with the opportunity to work with startups and gain experience in the startup ecosystem.
• Founder Fundamentals: Students can learn the fundamentals of founding a startup.

Awards

• BEST Awards Recipients: The program recognizes and rewards outstanding students who have demonstrated excellence in entrepreneurship and science.

Entrepreneurial Work-Integrated Learning (e-WIL)

The e-WIL program is a part-time, hands-on learning opportunity that allows students to work with startups and gain practical experience in entrepreneurship. Students can apply for various positions, including AI-First Engineering Intern, Marketing Intern, UI-UX Designer, and more.

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing the payment process of the startup and working closely with the team to ensure efficient and accurate payment processing.

Lab2Client - Student Web Development

The Student Web Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the startup's website, ensuring that it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for performance.

KROP - Data Analyst

The Data Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining clean data sources, working closely with the director to develop the GPT-enhanced research model and analyzer.

Chatbase - Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for running social media marketing campaigns, writing content about Chatbase, creating TikTok videos, and researching and evaluating competitor marketing and digital content.

Chatbase - Full Stack Developer

The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the startup's website and applications, using technologies such as React, Node.js, and HTML.

Skinopathy - Full Stack Developer

The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for contributing to the front and backend development of all platforms, including web and mobile applications.

Skinopathy - Flutter Developer

The Flutter Developer will be responsible for contributing to the mobile application development team, working closely with software engineers to design, develop, and test mobile applications.

REEFERS - Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for researching and developing the company's prototype design, building the design with the knowledge of the best components, and assisting the main engineer with technical aspects.

REEFERS - Legal Advisor

The Legal Advisor will be responsible for creating legal documents, reviewing partnership and investment agreements, and assisting in filing patents and intellectual property matters.

Pantheon - Instant Webtool Developer

The Instant Webtool Developer will be responsible for creating an interactive website with a proprietary instant-quote tool, allowing clients to upload 3D models and receive quotes in minutes.

RydUp - Software Developer

The Software Developer will be responsible for contributing to the development of the company's platform, including Android and iOS applications, server, and database.

RydUp - Marketing Intern

The Marketing Intern will be responsible for performing market analysis, designing websites, creating social media campaigns, and monitoring social media platforms for trending news and feedback.
