Program Overview

Program Overview

The Executive Health Services Administration (EMHA) program is designed for working professionals and can be completed within two years at full-time status.

Tuition and Fees

The estimated cost per credit hour for the online EMHA program is $772.69, which includes university fees. Tuition rates and fees are subject to change. UCF employee and state tuition waivers are not accepted for this program.

Admission Requirements

To be admitted into the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • One sealed transcript from each university/college attended, showing a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • A goal statement indicating how the Executive Health Services Administration program will enhance career goals.
  • A resume (no longer than two pages).
  • Three years of relevant healthcare experience, including one year of leadership experience.
  • Three recommendation letters that speak to healthcare and/or management experience (one of the recommendation letters must be from the current supervisor).

Application Process

Applicants can upload unofficial transcripts for review when submitting their application. However, official transcripts in a sealed envelope must be submitted before registering for classes if admitted into the program.

Program Structure

The EMHA program follows a cohort model, where a group of students are admitted into the program each term and study together throughout the course of the program. This model provides a greater sense of community, more opportunities for networking and collaboration, and more in-depth coverage of topics.

Enrollment

Approximately 30 students are admitted each fall and spring semester. Students must enroll on a full-time basis and take two courses per semester. However, adjustments can be made if part-time status is necessary.

Tuition for International Students

The tuition is a flat rate, which is the same for all students, including international students.

Student Visas

The program does not support student visas, as it is fully online and does not require students to be in the country to enroll.

Program Outcomes

Full program outcomes, faculty, and student breakdowns can be viewed on the CAHME Accredited Program advanced search.
