University Program Information
The University of Central Florida (UCF) School of Performing Arts offers a comprehensive music program that provides students with a well-rounded education in music performance, theory, and history. Strings Program
The Strings program at UCF is a highly respected and competitive program that offers students the opportunity to study with world-renowned faculty members. The program includes private lessons, masterclasses, and ensemble performances, and is designed to help students develop their technical and musical skills.
Violin
The Violin program at UCF is led by Dr. Ross Monroe Winter, who is a renowned violinist and pedagogue. The program offers students the opportunity to study with Dr. Winter and other faculty members, and to perform in a variety of ensembles, including the UCF Symphony Orchestra and the UCF Chamber Orchestra.
Viola
The Viola program at UCF is led by faculty member Chung Park, who is a highly respected violist and teacher. The program offers students the opportunity to study with Mr. Park and other faculty members, and to perform in a variety of ensembles, including the UCF Symphony Orchestra.
Cello
The Cello program at UCF is led by faculty member David Bjella, who is a highly respected cellist and teacher. The program offers students the opportunity to study with Mr. Bjella and other faculty members, and to perform in a variety of ensembles, including the UCF Symphony Orchestra.
Bass
The Bass program at UCF is led by faculty member Michael Hill, who is a highly respected bassist and teacher. The program offers students the opportunity to study with Mr. Hill and other faculty members, and to perform in a variety of ensembles, including the UCF Symphony Orchestra.
String Quartet
The String Quartet program at UCF is a specialized program that offers students the opportunity to study and perform with a string quartet. The program is led by faculty member Ayako Yonetani, who is a highly respected violinist and quartet player.
