Bachelor of Design in Architecture

The Bachelor of Design in Architecture is a comprehensive program that provides students with a solid foundation in the principles and practices of architecture.


Program Curriculum

The program curriculum is designed to provide students with a well-rounded education in architecture, including coursework in design, history, theory, and technical skills.


Architecture Pre-Major Requirements (Year 1 and 2)

To complete the pre-major requirements, students must:


  • Earn an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from a Florida public institution; OR
  • Receive a "General Education Requirements Met" endorsement from a Florida public institution; OR
  • Complete classes required to satisfy the General Education Program as administered by UCF, as well as successful completion of the Gordon Rule requirement.
    • GEP Courses:
      • ENC 1101 (3 credits) and ENC 1102 (3 credits)
      • MAC 1140 or MAC 11114 (3 credits)
      • GEP Mathematical Foundations (3 hours)
