Overview

The UCF-HCA Florida Healthcare (Greater Orlando/Osceola) Internal Medicine Residency Program is a unique partnership between the University of Central Florida and HCA Healthcare, providing a dynamic and engaging education that fosters both clinical excellence and personal satisfaction in the practice of medicine.

Program Leadership

The program is led by Abdo Asmar, MD, FACP, Vice Chairman of Graduate Medical Education and Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program.

Training Opportunities

Residents have the opportunity to train at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, a premier tertiary care center, and the Orlando VA Medical Center, one of the largest veterans' healthcare facilities in the nation and home to a world-class simulation and training center.
