MA in Linguistics
The Master of Arts in Linguistics is designed to provide students with a solid foundational knowledge of the traditional core areas of linguistic analysis, as well as a deeper specialization in a chosen subfield. The program emphasizes completion of an independent research project in Linguistics.

Our graduates continue on to pursue more advanced work in Linguistics at the PhD level, or in related fields with a commitment to the study of language. Other graduates pursue careers in education, speech and language technologies, and work on endangered languages.
