Program Overview

General English Program

The General English program is designed for highly-motivated individuals who need to learn English for social and/or educational purposes. This course provides students with a strong basis in English through face-to-face classroom lessons.

Program Details

• Levels: 1 (beginner) to 6 (advanced)
• Class Schedule: Weeknights, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:00PM 9:30PM (subject to change)
• Length: 12 weeks
• Total Hours: 60 Hours
• Class Size: Maximum 15 students

Admission Requirements

• Students are required to take a placement exam, which covers the various skills taught in the class.
• Students are then placed in one of six levels. Note: If there is a smaller enrollment, students are placed in beginner, intermediate, or advanced classes.
• A grade of C+ or a 77% overall score is required to progress to the next level.

Program Description

This program allows students to learn the English skills that they need for life, work, and study, while simultaneously preparing them for their careers. In class, students will join professionals from all disciplines for discussions and grammar practice.

Additional Information

• I-20s are not issued for this course. F-1 students may add this class to their full-time program.
