Hospitality and Tourism Management Program
The Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management offers a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management degree. This program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in the hospitality and tourism industry.

Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the program, students must:
- Complete an Associate in Arts (AA) degree
- Complete all prerequisites with a grade of C or higher
- Have a cumulative Transfer GPA of 2.0 or higher
Special Notes
- MAC 1105 (College Algebra) is not required for this program. Students should select MGF or STA courses that satisfy the AA.
- The additional lower division courses listed below are required for this program, while the strongly recommended courses satisfy upper division requirements for Hospitality Management majors.
Prerequisites
The following prerequisites are required for the program:
- ECO 2013 Principles of Economics (Macro) (preferred)
- Alternatively, ECO 2023 Principles of Economics (Micro) can be taken
- HFT 1000 Introduction to Hospitality

- Alternatively, HFT 1220 Communication/Supervisory Development can be taken
