Degree

The Bachelor of Science in Physics is a comprehensive program designed to provide students with a thorough understanding of the principles of physics.


Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission, students must:


  • Complete an Associate in Arts (AA) degree
  • Complete all prerequisites with a grade of C or higher
  • Have a cumulative Transfer GPA of 2.0 or higher

Special Notes

It is strongly encouraged that students complete math and science courses every term to make satisfactory progress toward completing all prerequisites and the AA degree prior to transfer. An additional lower division course, MAP 2302 Differential Equations, is required for this program and should be taken prior to completing the AA degree.

Engineering Concentration

  • COP 1334C Introduction to C++ (or EEL 2880)

Health Physics Concentration

  • BSC 2010 + BSC 2010L General Biology + Lab
