Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the Dietetics and Nutrition: Didactic Program, students must meet the following requirements:
- Complete an Associate in Arts (AA) degree
- Complete all prerequisites with a grade of C or higher, including science courses
- Must complete BSC 2010/L, CHM 1045/L, CHM 1046/L, and HUN 2201 for admission consideration
- Cumulative Transfer GPA: 2.7 or higher
Special Notes
- The Didactic Program is specifically designed for students interested in becoming a Registered Dietician Nutritionist (RDN).
- Students interested in attending professional schools (e.g., medical, pharmacy, physical therapy) can consider the Dietetics and Nutrition: Nutrition Science Major Transfer Guide, which does not lead to RDN.
- Additional lower division courses are required for the degree, and students are encouraged to take these courses prior to completing the AA.

The following additional lower division courses are required for the degree:
- BSC 2085 + BSC 2085L Anatomy and Physiology 1 + Lab
- BSC 2086 + BSC 2086L Anatomy and Physiology 2 + Lab Note: These two courses combined transfer as upper division for Dietetics and Nutrition: Didactic Program majors.
