Students complete pre-medical requirements as part of a second major, complementing the first major of their choice.

College to Career
Students entering the major with less than 90 credit hours take a Cornerstone course, which enables students to make the most of the interdisciplinary opportunities and flexibility a Liberal Studies major provides. Before graduating, all Liberal Studies students take a capstone course that allows them to reflect and build on the interests, experiences, skills, and strengths they develop during their time at FIU. Students then connect this knowledge with available academic and career opportunities.
