Program Overview

The Argentina: Society, Politics, and International Relations study abroad program is an intensive four-week program designed to foster an understanding of Latin American international relations through the experience of living and studying in one of the most vibrant cosmopolitan cities in the Americas. The program is open to both undergraduate and graduate students.

• Eligibility: Open to undergraduate and graduate students

Housing

Students live with Argentine families in the neighborhoods of La Recoleta, Palermo, and Barrio Norte, allowing them to experience Buenos Aires as a local and immerse themselves in Argentine culture.

Cost

• Program Cost: $1,600
• Included in Program Cost:
  • Daily classes and all course materials
  • Homestay accommodation
  • 2 meals a day (Breakfast and Dinner)
  • Welcome lunch
  • Bus tour of Buenos Aires and guided site-visits to points of interest throughout the city
  • Two tango classes
  • Pre-departure and in-country orientation sessions

  • $195 OEA fee is non-refundable

The Argentina Study Abroad program entirely fulfills the Capstone requirement, which is 1 of the 5 requirements for the Global Learning Medallion award.
