Smart Systems Integrated Solutions (SSIs) Master's Program

The Smart Systems Integrated Solutions (SSIs) program is a two-year joint master's program that offers students the opportunity to study at three European universities: Aalto University, University of South-Eastern Norway, and Budapest University of Technology and Economics. The program focuses on smart systems and microsystem technology, providing students with in-depth knowledge of electrical interfaces, signal processing, sustainable electronics, and design for reliability.

Program Description

The SSIs program is a multidisciplinary field that combines contributions from several traditional technical fields. The program's core learning objectives include:

  • In-depth knowledge of microsystem technology, microelectronics, functional and physical integration, coding, and their interactions
  • Ability to define, model, and design a smart system to solve complex practical and theoretical problems
  • Insights into the latest research in the field and the ability to advance research
  • Ability to critically evaluate and select the necessary analysis tools, methods, models, and calculations
  • Worklife skills, such as entrepreneurship, scientific writing, communication, collaboration, and leadership in multidisciplinary, multicultural, and international teams

Language of Instruction

The language of instruction for the SSIs program is English.

Tuition Fees and Scholarships

The program has the following tuition fees:

  • 3,450 euros per academic year (for EU applicants)
  • 7,600 euros per academic year (for non-EU applicants)

Program Structure
