Program Overview


Bachelor's Programme in Economics

The Bachelor's Programme in Economics is a three-year undergraduate degree program that provides students with a comprehensive education in economics. The program is designed to equip students with a strong foundation in economic theory, econometrics, and applied economics, as well as to develop their critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Starting Your Studies

To start your studies in the Bachelor's Programme in Economics, you will need to follow these steps:


  • Activate your Aalto IT user account and complete the pre-orientation on the MyCourses learning platform.
  • Reserve time for orientation events, which take place from August 25 to August 29, 2025.
  • Participate in orientation events, which include a welcome breakfast, a meeting with your tutor group, and a campus tour.
  • Start your studies: the first courses will begin on September 1, 2025.
