Bachelor's Programme in Economics

The Bachelor's Programme in Economics is a three-year undergraduate degree program that provides students with a comprehensive education in economics. The program is designed to equip students with a strong foundation in economic theory, econometrics, and applied economics, as well as to develop their critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. The curriculum includes courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and mathematics, as well as elective courses in specialized areas such as international trade, economic development, and environmental economics. Starting Your Studies

To start your studies in the Bachelor's Programme in Economics, you will need to follow these steps:

• Activate your Aalto IT user account and complete the pre-orientation on the MyCourses learning platform.
• Reserve time for orientation events, which take place from August 25 to August 29, 2025.
• Participate in orientation events, which include a welcome breakfast, a meeting with your tutor group, and a campus tour.
• Start your studies: the first courses will begin on September 1, 2025.
