Program Description
The Aalto Bachelor's Programme in Science and Technology, majoring in Digital Systems and Design, educates future innovative leaders to build the digital systems that drive the world. Students become experts in networks, circuits, algorithmic learning, control and automation, embedded systems, and photonics. The program provides critical practical knowledge in technical design for engineering, making a difference in technical solutions.
Admission and Tuition
- The application period is from January 7 to January 22, 2026.
- The language of instruction is English.
- The duration of the program is 3 + 2 years (full-time).
- The tuition fee for non-EU/EEA students is 12,000 euros per year for bachelor's studies and 17,000 euros per year for master's studies.
Program Structure
- The bachelor's degree (180 credits) consists of basic studies in the program, major studies in Digital Systems and Design, minor studies, and elective studies.
- Major studies (65 credits) include a bachelor's thesis and seminar.
- Minor studies can be taken in Finnish if the student's Finnish language skills are sufficient.
