Program Overview

The Certificat Management hospitalier et du secteur de la santé is a program designed to help professionals in the healthcare sector understand and navigate the transformations occurring within the industry. The program aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to become actors of change, whether by accompanying or proposing alternative scenarios for evolution.


Objectives

The program has several objectives, including:


  • Offering participants an understanding of the current transformations in the healthcare system
  • Providing participants with operational knowledge and skills in management, financing, partnership, strategy, and project management
  • Enabling participants to accompany organizational transformations

Target Audience

The program is targeted towards:


  • Hospital doctors
  • Liberal doctors (notably in MSP or members of a CPTS)
  • Hospital executives (nursing executives, engineers, administrators)
  • Other healthcare professionals in the city (CPTS, MSP)

Prerequisites

To be eligible for the program, participants must be involved in change projects in the healthcare sector.


Program Structure

The program is structured into 10 modules, each lasting 2 days, and takes place over a period of one year, from October to July. The modules cover various topics, including:


  • Module 1: Cloisonnement/décloisonnement - The transformations in the healthcare sector
  • Module 2: Finances and performance - Medico-economic issues
  • Module 3: The digital transformation of healthcare organizations
  • Module 4: Pathways - The city, the medical-social sector, and new forms of articulation with the hospital
  • Module 5: Management and organizational innovations
  • Module 6: Sustainable development, territories, and hospital strategy
  • Module 7: Foreign experiences - Emerging transformations
  • Module 8: Innovative design in healthcare - New approaches
  • Module 9: Patient-centered organization - The place of the patient in the organization of the healthcare sector
  • Module 10: Defense of professional mini-theses and capitalization

Evaluation Methods

Participants are evaluated based on:


  • Completion of an individual memoir (30% of the final grade)
  • Defense of the individual memoir (40% of the final grade)
  • Completion of a case study on team management (10% of the final grade)
  • Completion of a business plan (10% of the final grade)
  • Completion of a case study on crisis management (10% of the final grade)

Certification

The program leads to the certification "Manager of a hospital service or a healthcare entity," registered in the specific France Compétences repository under the reference RS6471.


Duration and Fees

The program lasts 18 days and costs 8,500 HT (10,200 TTC), from October 15, 2026, to July 2, 2027.


Pedagogical Team

The program is led by Frédéric Kletz, a teacher-researcher at the Centre de Gestion Scientifique (CGS) of MINES ParisTech, with the support of a scientific and pedagogical committee composed of experts from the healthcare sector.
