The Master Management Stratégique des Services et Établissements pour Personnes Âgées (MSSEPA) is a professional training program designed to equip managers and directors of establishments or services for the elderly with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

The objectives of the MSSEPA program are to:

• Develop and consolidate management and leadership postures
• Provide an understanding of the dynamics of the gerontological sector
• Equip students with a solid technical foundation and a strong sense of managerial action in the medico-social sector
• Enable students to articulate their knowledge of the target population with the characteristics of the environment and the capabilities of managing a structure
• Allow students to experiment with the knowledge acquired during the program through a research-based project

Target Audience

The program is designed for:

• Holders of a Master's degree who wish to specialize in the social and medico-social sector, particularly in gerontology
• Managers in post who wish to acquire a level I diploma in accordance with the 2007 decree on the qualification of directors
• Managers in professional reconversion or seeking employment

• Period: From October N to September N+1 (excluding the submission of the thesis and defense between September N+1 and December N+1)

• Diploma or certificate awarded: The MSSEPA is a national diploma (DNM) of level Bac+5, awarded in the name of the State and benefiting from its guarantee, conferring the degree of Master.

The program is partnered with the Institut Régional de Travail Social (IRTS) Ile-de-France Montrouge Neuilly-sur-Marne, which has a mission to train and perfect French or foreign social workers and their managers, as well as conduct research-action, expertise, in the field of health, social, and medico-social action.

Career Opportunities

The jobs targeted at the end of the training concern senior management functions (director, deputy director) of establishments (EHPA, EHPAD...), services including aid and care at home, and residences with services, as well as the responsibility for coordinating networks.
