EDI Specialized Master

The Specialized Master's degree from Mines Paris – PSL offers an opportunity to specialize or acquire dual skills that are immediately operational in the corporate world.

Academic Excellence Combined with Professional Experience

This EDI SM trains scientists and engineers in technology management, innovative product design, and risk management from an interdisciplinary perspective. It focuses on deeptech entrepreneurship, encouraging the creation of innovative startups based on scientific advances, aimed at solving contemporary challenges such as energy transition, climate, sustainable development, health, education, mobility, digital, cybersecurity, agriculture, food, etc.

Personalized Support

The training program prepares participants to support the development or creation of a deeptech startup. To achieve this, participants develop skills in:

• Innovation strategy
• Project management
• Complex product design
• Needs analysis
• Intellectual property
• Risk assessment
• Financial feasibility

Program Details

• Center: Institut des Hautes Études pour l'Innovation et l'Entrepreneuriat (IHEIE)
• Duration: 12 months
• Pattern: 9-month internship with a deeptech startup, 1 week of teaching module per month

Certification

The Specialized Master's degree is certified by the Specialized Master's quality label, a collective trademark registered and filed with the INPI (French National Institute of Industrial Property), owned by the Conférence des grandes écoles, and is awarded to a 12-month program leading to a post-master's degree (Bac+6).
