Program Overview

The Ingťnieur cycle is designed to be completed over three years, but students have the option to convert their five-month international internship between the second and third year into a seventeen-month gap year. During this period, students pay reduced tuition fees.

Gap Year Details

• Students are required to complete at least one internship in a company during the gap year.
• Many students choose to test various environments and sectors, such as:
  • Internship in a large energy company in Singapore
  • Start-up in London
  • Federal laboratory in the United States
• Students may also engage in international solidarity actions, including:
  • Teaching courses to schoolchildren in developing countries
  • Volunteering to help refugee populations

Alternative Gap Year Projects

• The Direction des Etudes may authorize atypical projects, including those in France, if the student can justify their interest for their academic path.
• Examples of such projects include:
  • Traveling around the world by bike
  • Engaging in military reserve activities
  • Recording a music album
  • Pursuing a year of musical or artistic training
