Program Overview

The Dipl獽e Universitaire "宁udition - Fondamentaux de l'丱ole des chartes - PSL" is a one-year program that offers a selection of courses from the first two years of the Archiviste Pal廩graphe curriculum. This program allows students to acquire knowledge in the sciences of erudition and practice them in unique ways.

Presentation

The program presents a choice of courses from the Archiviste Pal廩graphe curriculum, focusing on three pillars of the 丱ole's teaching: History of the Book, History of Institutions and their Archives, and Languages and Literatures. Students can choose from three tracks, each axed on one of these pillars.

Target Audience

The program is designed for international students who have a good command of the French language and wish to strengthen their education in the 丱ole des chartes - PSL's areas of specialization. It is suitable for students who need to acquire solid knowledge in one of the three axes of the diploma or who are considering preparing a thesis project.

Curriculum

The program is taught on-site, with no distance learning options. During their year of study, students do not need to complete an internship or write a dissertation. Evaluations are based on exams, which lead to a diploma signed by the 丱ole's director.

Admission

Prerequisites

To be eligible, students must have a level of education equivalent to a bachelor's degree (bac+3 or higher) and a certificate proving their French language level is C1.

Application Process

Applications must be submitted by May 15, 2025. The application dossier should include:

• A letter of motivation
• A CV
• A certificate of French language level C1
• A transcript of records
• Copies of diplomas obtained
• A piece of identification

Admissible candidates will be invited to a video conference interview with a jury composed of two professors from the 丱ole. Each year, up to 10 students are admitted to the program.

Calendar

• Interviews with admissible candidates: May 2025
• Admission results: June 2, 2025
• Start of the program: late September 2025
• Courses: from late September 2025 to April 2026
• Exams: at the end of each semester (December and May)

Tuition Fees

The tuition fee is 5,000 euros.
