Overview
The Digital Health Management course provides an introduction to the field of digital health, navigating the evolving landscape of healthcare technology and digital solutions, including AI applications. Participants will explore the intersection of healthcare, information technology, and business management, gaining an understanding of the challenges and opportunities, immersing themselves in concrete cases and domains, and learning about relevant management approaches and practices for planning and implementing information systems.
Structure
This part-time and flexible study programme caters to the needs of working professionals. More than 75% of all learning takes place at a distance, giving students the opportunity to learn and progress at their own pace. All courses adopt a blended learning approach, offering the advantages of both self-directed and face-to-face phases.
Target Audience
The course is designed for all who work or aspire to work in the area of international cooperation for public health at all levels. It is of special interest for (future) leaders and managers addressing the need to link strong business management expertise and a sound education in public health. Participants with a first professional qualification (e.g., Bachelor degree) have at least 2 years of professional experience and demonstrate sufficient English language skills (TOEFL Paper 550/ TOEFL Computer 213/ TOEFL internet 79 80/ IELTS 6.0 or native speaker or completed higher education in English).

- Fee for MBA-IHM students: CHF 2,950
- Fee for Short Course students: CHF 3,450 (incl. application fee)
- Same fee applies to tropEd students and students enrolled in a SSPH+ professional postgraduate Master or PhD programme. Course fees must be paid in advance to gain access to the online learning materials. Tuition fees do not cover insurance, travel expenses, or personal living costs incurred during your stay in Basel.

Learning Outcomes
