The program "KI in der Verwaltung: Texte optimieren, ¸bersetzen, analysieren" (26F09002) is a training course designed to support daily writing tasks in administration using Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Description

This practical boot camp demonstrates how AI tools can simplify the working day in text creation, editing, and summarizing content, from formulating emails, applications, or reports to creating information materials. Under the guidance of experienced digital coach Dr. Mirko Bischofsberger, participants develop a basic understanding of the functionality of the tools used and how to utilize them purposefully and responsibly. Participants work on practical tasks with their own laptops, learning to realistically assess the potentials and limitations of AI for their specific fields of work.

Aims

• Ability to use AI tools specifically for creating, editing, and analyzing various text forms in administration.

• Ability to critically examine the results and reflect on both the risks and potentials of AI use in one's own work context.
• Ability to assess different AI tools based on their suitability for specific tasks.

Target Group

The target group for this program is employees in the central and decentralized administration of the University of Basel.
