The program "Ihr Werkzeugkoffer f僡 die digitale Lehre an der Universit酹 Basel" is an online course designed to provide participants with an overview of the various tools, platforms, and infrastructure available for digital teaching at the University of Basel.
Description
The digital transformation is changing our access to and handling of knowledge, which also affects university learning and teaching. Digital teaching formats are becoming an integral part of the curriculum. This course provides an overview of the tools, platforms, and infrastructure that can be used to design and offer digital teaching or parts of it. The course covers both synchronous and asynchronous phases of teaching, as well as digital performance records and exams.
Requirements for Participation
To receive a certificate of participation, participants must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum attendance of 80% at virtual presence events
- Successful completion of tasks and performance records in self-study

Content
The course provides an overview of the available tools and platforms at the University of Basel, which support the following:
- Design of synchronous teaching parts (especially Zoom)
- Recording of teaching events (especially Panopto)
- Design of asynchronous teaching parts (especially ADAM)
- Conducting digital performance records and exams (especially ADAM EXAM and EvaExam) The focus of the course is on the following tools and platforms: Zoom, Lernplattform ADAM (ILIAS), Panopto, EvaExam, and ADAM EXAM. Additionally, various other useful tools and platforms are presented.
Target Group
The course is open to all university members. Doctoral students and postdocs should register through the Transferable Skills platform.
