Program Overview

The program "Lehrveranstaltungen diversit‰tsbewusst gestalten" (Designing Diversity-Aware Teaching) is an online course offered by the University of Basel.

Objectives

The objective of the seminar is to sensitize participants to diversity and develop approaches for diversity-aware teaching that provides good learning opportunities for all. Participants will gain an overview of the basics of diversity-aware didactics and deepen their understanding of selected focal points.


Course Content

  • Reflective examination of various dimensions of diversity-aware didactics
  • Development of approaches for designing diversity-aware teaching and examinations
  • Knowledge of relevant institutions and regulations of the University of Basel

Target Audience

The course is aimed at members of the University of Basel (including doctoral and postdoctoral students) with at least a master's degree, who are involved in the basic teaching of the University of Basel.
