Program Overview

The Master of Science in Health Informatics (MSHI) program is designed for individuals who have earned or are in the process of completing a bachelor's degree.


Admission Requirements

To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the following criteria:


  • Have earned or be in the process of completing a bachelor's degree.
  • Submit scores for G.R.E., G.M.A.T., or M.C.A.T. (optional, but not required).
  • Participate in a virtual interview with the Admissions Committee, if selected.

Admission Criteria

The Admissions Committee conducts an individualized, holistic review of applications, considering the following factors:


  • Demonstration of writing ability in personal statement, with clear goals for a career in health informatics.
  • Previous education, including transcripts and GPA.
  • Letters of recommendation (a minimum of 3 required).
  • Professional and/or research experience, as applicable.
